POSITION SUMMARY:
The Project Manager/Business Analyst position is responsible for driving successful implementations of web sites and custom web applications within a small IT team. This individual must have a proven track record of taking ideas from concept to implementation, while providing leadership and direction. This person will be responsible for the full systems development lifecycle from requirements gathering through implementation. To be successful, this position must become deeply immersed and knowledgeable about AAHA’s core association management software (netForum by Abila/Community Brands), business functions, processes and workflows.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Collaborate with the internal business owners to identify, document and communicate business requirements for both large and small digital projects.
• Consider how each project may tie in to other department projects, and if it could be used to enhance other areas of AAHA.
• Help the business owners identify and plan for all possible scenarios that may affect the design of the application.
• Determine the scope of the project and estimate the development time required.
• Work with the Director of Digital Innovation for guidance regarding project scope, budgets and prioritization.
• Set up and manage the project in Teamwork, identify tasks to be completed and determine the project milestones.
• Review project schedules and determine when outside development will be required.
• Work with AAHA’s lead developer (or consultants when needed) to ensure requirements are understood and met through technical design reviews.
• Implement Scrum and Agile methodologies for development projects.
• Track and communicate status to project stakeholders.
• Write test plans and coordinate with internal users to initiate end user testing.
• Based on end user feedback, coordinate with the developer to make changes as necessary.
• Create documentation regarding the application’s business logic/requirements and create any necessary SOPs for other staff members.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Document and analyze current business processes and underlying systems/applications.
• Create technical documentation such as data maps, process flows, and system design as needed.
• Performs duties/projects as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Must have experience with managing the full system development life cycle
• Working knowledge of MS SQL and .net development environments highly desired
• Working knowledge of Episerver Content Management System a plus
• Contract negotiation skills highly desired
• Strong logical and analytical problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Maintain a technical analyst level understanding of technology used by development team and how it relates to business operations.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical individuals
• Experience with project management tools such as Teamwork
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills
• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
ACCOUNTABILITY
• Complete netForum developer training including data modeling, toolkit and eWeb.
• Work to understand integrations with aaha.org and netForum (xWeb) to be able to support event registration, member/customer account updates, eCommerce, etc.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Must be able to travel by car/airplane
