Equity Staffing Group has an excellent opportunity with one of our large oil & gas clients in the Lysite, WY area as a Turnaround Planner/Scheduler! This is an immediate opportunity that includes a daily per diem and a flexible work schedule!

Planner/Scheduler Specialist

Main Function:
• The Planner/Scheduler Specialist will oversee development and maintenance of the Primavera P6 Enterprise schedule for the Lost Cabin Gas Plant Fire Rebuild Project which is anticipated to complete in the August 2020 timeframe.
• The Planner/Scheduler Specialist will work with Project Management and Plant Operations to define, assemble, and plan work packages for all disciplines and transform these work packages into executable plans to be scheduled.
• The Planner/Scheduler Specialist will ensure that the project(s) meet the requirements for development and implementation of project planning and scheduling, progress monitoring and reporting, and coordination of schedule and cost.
• The position will be a rotational position located in Lysite Wyoming after a workable plan has been assembled. The time expected to assemble the workable plan is 4-6 weeks. Once a preliminary plan has been put in place the rotational assignment will begin which is 2weeks on/off.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• Prepare or ensure procedures for project controls reporting including risk assessment and earned value.
• Work as Subject Matter Expert with interface of multiple database information sharing tools.
• Work with BU Project Controls Professionals to ensure best application of integrated project controls, monthly forecasting and value of work done estimates.
• Assist Lower 48 Project Teams with continuing education as to the functionality of Planning and P6.
• Work with Manager Lower 48 Project services to prioritize short-term task and objectives.
• Ensure that relevant corporate guidelines, procedures and systems are adhered to during the execution of Projects.
• Ensure that all relevant activities are included in the Project Master Schedule.
• Implement and maintain database security, i.e.: creating and maintaining users, roles and privileges for the Lower 48 P6 Database(s).
• Ownership and maintenance of SharePoint Site, containing Processes and Procedures, Change Requests (e.g. New Users, New Codes, New EPS Nodes, etc.) and Training Modules.
• Provide typical schedule variance analysis reports for PMT to use in P6.
• Provide ongoing training for all levels of Lower 48 planning and scheduling staff.
• Ensure consistency across support software packages, i.e. Oracle, SAP, Cost Module, Performance Measurement Software, PIMS, Spotfire, GenerWell, Actenum, DSM and others.
• Coordinate program level schedule risk analysis
• Seek innovation in scheduling and execution plans that could improve project economics.
• Collaborate with Cost Estimating and Cost Control to ensure best application of integrated project

Experience:
• A minimum of 7 years hands on project planning and associated experience
• Comprehensive experience with various Planning and Scheduling tools (Primavera, SAP PM, Microsoft Project, Prometheus)
• Technical competency in preparation of automated and integrated project controls
• Understands the significance of resource/cost loading, cash flow, and earned value management;
• Must be highly articulate, have clear and analytical approach to problem solving, and strong decision making abilities;
• Ability to prepare and integrate schedules within a multiple project environment;
• Ability to interpret and analyze project schedules, assess logic, provide forecasts, and advise recovery plans;
• Ability to work within a diverse cultural environment;
• Ability to recognize and administrate Project Schedule needs within resource planning, progress measurement, and change management.

Success Attributes:
• Must thoroughly understand and utilize Information Technology in the performance of work including Internet, Intranet, Microsoft Windows OS, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
• Must possess highly developed inter-personnel skills to deal effectively with direct reports, peers, partners and contractors.
• Must possess skills to foster change, concentrate on being a team player, and maintain an open mind on existing work process that are in place.
• Shall be able to prioritize responsibilities and be results oriented to focus on achievement of the business and projects’ overall objectives.
• Will be creative, innovative and imaginative with high levels of initiative.
• Must have excellent written and spoken English language communication skills.
