Provider Enrollment Specialist- Franklin, TN

Equity Staffing is searching for several Provider Enrollment Representatives in Franklin, TN. This position is with a Fortune 100 organization. Role Expectations:
• Facilitate the application from a new provider through all stages in order to enroll the provider with Medicaid
• Maintain copies of licensure, certificates, and other documents necessary for the enrollment process, and conducts verification of all data, ensuring accuracy and timely entry of information
• Ensure that all necessary licenses and credentials are verified. This might include conducting background checks, contacting licensing boards, reviewing license applications, and obtaining education information
• Conducts the enrollment process and maintains provider information
• Adheres to deadlines and enrollment schedules by tracking files through all stages
• Database management skills including querying, reporting, and document generation
• Communicates with providers via email, phone, and instant message
• Applies knowledge/skills to a range of moderately complex activities
• Uses communication skills to ensure positive consumer interactions
• May act as a technical resource to others
• Proactively identifies solutions to non-standard requests
• Solves moderately complex problems on own
• Works with team/SMEs/leaders to solve complex problems

Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma
• General knowledge/skills in provider enrollment function
• General knowledge of Medicaid and/or Medicare (policies, procedures and state regulations)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Organized decision maker
• Detail oriented
• Experienced in Microsoft Suite
• Ability to work at a desk/computer for extended periods of time

Preferred Qualifications
• One (1) – two (2) years’ experience in provider enrollment
• Experience in Medicaid, Medicare, or Commercial Healthcare programs
• Basic understanding of Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH)
• Familiarity with medical terminology

Work Hours - 8 hour shifts, varying between 8am - 5pm CST, M-F excluding State holidays
Onsite Training will require business casual dress.
Interviews will be conducted remotely.
