Overview:

The Program Manager reports directly to the Vice President of Programs on all matters pertaining to the implementation and completion of all assigned programs and sales awarded to the company.

Main Duties:

• Coordinating with company counterparts in marketing, engineering, manufacturing, and contracts to develop competitive proposals in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) received from potential US domestic and international customers. Leading the proposal activity in areas such as:
• Defining the program requirements and work breakdown structure based on the RFQ and performance specifications
• Developing the program plan, statement of work, implementation schedule, and staffing requirements
• Identifying and qualifying potential subcontractors, preparing subcontractor Statements of Work, and negotiating and confirming the least-cost, compliant bid
• Finalizing detailed cost estimates for internal and external work
• Reviewing the final proposal for accuracy and completeness
• Coordinating with company and external counterparts in marketing, engineering, manufacturing, and contracts to ensure that program requirements are well known, understood and performed in a high-quality, timely and cost effective manner following contract award. Leading the post-contract award activity by:
● Developing and maintaining excellent Customer relationships
• Organizing and conducting the program kick-off process
● Developing and confirming the program performance schedule
● Developing, finalizing, and approving work authorizations for performing organizations within the company, and purchase orders for external subcontractors
Developing, implementing, and managing the program in compliance with the program’s contractual, technical and schedule requirements, and consistent with the company’s financial objectives
● Acting as the company’s principal interface to the customer on all matters related to the program
• Managing the activities of program personnel, and coordinating the program-related efforts of other performing organizations within the company
• Managing subcontractor activities, and scheduling, coordinating, and completing all on-site preparation, construction, installation, and commissioning activities
• Managing the successful documentation, closure, and final customer acceptance of all program requirements
• Managing and maintaining the program budget and forecasted cash-flows
• Reporting program status and financial performance to management on a periodic basis in company approved format

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Technical field
• PMP certification
• 5+ years of Program Management experience
• Demonstrated skills/experience overseeing and implementing successful projects
• High level of organizational and communication skills
• Skills and demonstrated experience managing customer relationships
