Print Process Project Manager--Eden Praire, MN/Remote

Equity Staffing is currently looking for a Print Process Project Manager in the Eden Prairie MN area, which could be remote. This position is with a Fortune 100 organization. This role is a temporary/contract position budgeted until December 31 2022.

It can be remote for the right candidate.

Hours: Monday through Friday 8 am to 4 pm CST

Job Responsibilities:

What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position (please be as detailed as possible)?

1) Serve as primary day-to-day contact for print vendors
2) Provide recommendations and obtain internal expenditure approval for best format, economic order quantity, fulfillment method, document estimates
3) Upon project approval, issue a Purchase Order to officially award the job to the selected vendor
4) Monitor Purchase Order status through invoicing; ensuring price, General Ledger coding and quantity accuracy
5) Provide final art files, print specifications, quantities, ship-to address, labeling and shipping instructions to print vendors
6) Receive, review, and approve printer proofs (in conjunction with and / or on behalf of the business owner)
7) Monitor on time, on budget, quality, and cost-effective delivery of materials by print vendors
8) Review and understand project details of print and fulfillment business requirements for assigned projects
9) Monitor project dates and meet deliverables to ensure order quality / accuracy goals are met
10) Create procedure and job aid documentation on new tasks or processes
Job Qualifications:

What skills/attributes are required (please be detailed as to the number of years of experience for each skill)?

• 5+ years of print production and print process management including comprehensive understanding of the printing, letter shop (mailing) and fulfillment industry

• 5+ years of client account management

• 3+ years of utilizing project management methodology and/or have acquired a PMP certification

• Associate degree

What skills/attributes are preferred (what will set a candidate apart)?

• Strong interest and / or knowledge of new technologies and process improvement workflows

• Experience coordinating or managing deliverables of third - party vendors

• Experience interfacing with business decision - makers and system end - users to prioritize and achieve desired outcomes

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Self - starter with excellent communication, organizational, process planning, decision making and implementation skills

• Possess a very high level of attention to detail

• Effective negotiation, communication, project, and time management skills
