IT Deskside Support - Los Angeles, CA

Equity Staffing Group has a temporary IT Deskside Support position with one of our clients in the Los Angeles, CA and Orange County, CA area! This position is a month long contract, with opportunity for extension. They are looking for an individual with a background as a Deskside Support Specialist who can handle support needs for regional offices!

Position will be responsible for IT Support at the company’s downtown LA and Orange County (Irvine) offices.
Standard operating hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Mon, Wed – LA or Irvine
• Tues, Thurs – LA or Irvine
• Fri – occasional need to help out in either office


• The IT Support Analyst will be responsible for providing high quality technical support for the company’s supported technologies.
• Ensure service levels are met or exceeded.
• The Support Analyst will provide first level phone & e-mail support to end-users regarding IT incidents and service requests heavily utilizing remote control tools.
• The analyst will be responsible for ensuring incidents and user requests for services are recorded in the Service Desk ITSM system and if not resolved at point of contact, directed/escalated to the appropriate service support team.
• The technician will be expected to leverage and contribute to the IT Support Knowledgebase for solutions to incidents and service requests and accurately execute operational policies, procedures and practices.
• The technician will be expected to alert peers and management to emerging trends in incidents as well as unusual issues. Assume additional responsibilities as requested.


• Recent Tier I related experience in Service Desk environment.
• Experience providing deskside support and remote troubleshooting to end users.
• Experience working in application and hardware support role for end users in a highly professional environment, previous Legal experience is a huge plus.
• Experience providing application and hardware troubleshooting and support in MS/Windows technical environment.
• Strong customer service mindset.
• Must possess a positive "Can-Do" attitude.
• Highly developed oral and written communication skills.
• Good analytical skills, sound judgment.
• Ability to listen effectively.
• Ability to work effectively with end users, peers and management.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Strong self-sufficient style of work practice.
• Ability to negotiate service level priorities on behalf of customer with IT peer groups.
