HR Payroll Specialist- Houston, TX

$23-$26/hr
Responsibilities:
• Process pay inputs accurately and timely, make adjustments and corrections accordingly so our records are correct and up to date.
• Prepare and monitor payroll data ensuring processes and data are in place for payroll processing per local country requirements and regulations.
• Perform transactions and manage associated tasks for employee personal and job-related data service requests.
• Perform the review and approve steps in Workday for pay input processes to ensure these are in line with policy and established thresholds.
• Support the Payroll related integrations by working business errors and identifying integration issues in the system.
• Work in close partnership to the Solutions team in support of seamless integrations and fixing errors when they arise.
• Participate in projects related to local system releases, local processes changes, and team’s continuous improvements initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Highschool Diploma or equivalent education.
• Knowledge of hire to retire end to end processes.
• Expertise on Tax and State requirements as well as Payroll implications.
• Foundational knowledge of CRM systems, including Salesforce.
• Proficient in using MS Office and Teams.
• IT know-how on systems analysis and automation development.
• Foundational knowledge of Reporting and Data.
• Foundational knowledge of P&C Systems such as Workday.
• A continuous improvement approach; seeking simple, ‘best fit’ solutions to challenges.
