Pay: $32 – 34/hr. based on experience

Duration: 3 months, could go longer


• This role performs Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) medical record abstraction and engages in HEDIS-related rate improvement activities.


• Performs detailed review of medical records to determine compliance with HEDIS measures.
• Reviews and analyzes medical record data abstracted by other staff to insure accuracy of data recorded.
• Serves as subject matter expert for NCQA HEDIS measures requiring medical record review based on experience.
• Interacts with care coordinators and facilitators in the physician offices as a subject matter expert providing education and consultation for the medical record chase process.
• Performs other related duties as needed.
Background Needed:
• Bachelor’s /Associate’s degree in nursing with current licensure in MO and KS
• LPN OR RN with previous HEDIS abstraction experience with current licensure in MO and KS
• Experience working with physician medical records
• Expertise using Microsoft Word & Excel to review and manipulate data
