Position: Culinary Research and Development Specialist

Location: Denver, CO

Target Pay: $30.00 to $34.00/hour

Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm

Role Summary:

The Research Chef or Scientist will support business objectives by creating innovative prototypes and recipes, developing customer solutions with both Traditional Flour and Emerging Nutrition portfolio ingredients. They must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to plan and execute multiple projects.


1. Familiarity with lab equipment and Experience with bakery applications

2. Degree in Culinary Nutrition, Food Science, Culinary Science, Baking and Pastry, Culinology

3. 3 years of R&D or Culinary Experience

4.Highly motivated, self-starter, is very organized, demonstrated ability to learn, not afraid to take on ambiguous tasks

5. Positive and flexible working style, able to quickly develop a positive working relationship with others

6. Exercises independent judgment and discretion on the job

7. Must be able to consume wheat-based foods and work in an environment that mills wheat flour
