Equity Staffing Group is looking to hire 2 contract Clinical Lab Scientists / Technicians for a Fortune 100 company.

Our Research and Development team Query Lab seeks to advance innovation efforts and learnings to improve the ways we prevent, detect, and intercept disease. We are looking for qualified lab technicians to work in our state-of-the-art clinical lab on cutting edge research and development studies. The lab technician will support the design and implementation of studies while ensuring study safety, privacy, data security, and sound results.
Responsibilities:
• Collect blood, urine, and other body fluids from patients or other subjects, as well as samples of raw materials, works in progress, and completed products.
• Analyze specimens or samples using microscopes, automatic analyzers, PCR, spectrophotometer, DNA sequencer, Simao HD-X analyzer or other instruments.
• Confirm from samples or specimens that tests or experiments follow standards and protocol.
• Detect potential diseases, abnormal conditions, and substances or chemicals in samples.
• Record findings and results into computers or data bases for use by physicians, scientists, or other users.
• Log the date, time, and custody of test or experiment subjects.
• Consult with physicians, scientists, or other experts on methods of and findings from tests.
• Clean, organize, calibrate, and prepare microscopes and other laboratory instruments.
• Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure product integrity and quality control
• Record adverse event and side effect data and confer with investigators regarding the reporting of events to oversight agencies.
• Partner with lab and research teams and coordinate site visits to analyze discrepancies and answer questions about issues such as incomplete data.

Soft Skills:
Detail-Oriented Skills. Conscientious with details includes the ability to record all relevant data, identify those from whom samples are taken, and thoroughly describe the subjects and findings.
Physical Skills. Dexterity to handle and grasp medical equipment and supplies, such as needles, to obtain precise samples for testing along with the ability to remain standing for lengthy periods of time to collect samples and analyze them.
Reasoning Skills. Ability to detect relationships between events and data and form conclusions based on information received or collected while recognizing errors or inconsistencies in results.
Technological Skills. Ability to use complex instruments, machines and databases necessary to record information on the subject and the material tested or sampled.
Communication Skills. Strong communication skills with experience working across multiple stakeholders effectively.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science (board certified as an MT through ASCP)
• 3+ years of lab experience
• 3+ years’ experience demonstrating critical thinking skills
• 2+ years’ experience successfully thriving in an environment with ambiguity
• Proven ability to be organized, possess the ability to prioritize, take initiative and commit to the completion of each assigned project
• High level of Microsoft Office proficiency

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in a CLIA Accredited lab
