Equity Staffing Group is one of the largest and fastest growing Native American owned staffing companies in the world. Equity Staffing Group is owned and operated by a member of the Potawatomi Nation.
The Potawatomi name is a translation of the Ojibwe "potawatomink" meaning "people of the place of fire." The Potawatomi are among the wave of Algonquian-speaking people who occupied the Great Lakes region from prehistoric times through the early 1800’s.
Today the Citizen Potawatomi Nation, located in Oklahoma, is the largest of the eight federally recognized Potawatomi tribes and the ninth largest tribe in the United States.
